Private Bike Tour Concon - Viña del Mar - Valparaiso

We start the day with private pick up from your hotel at 9.30 am. Enjoy a scenic drive (1.30 hours) through the Casablanca wine valley until arriving in our first stop Concón. We will visit the Concón Sand Dunes and climb up to them to see a panoramic view over the three most important coastal cities of the region. This point allows us to see from above the cycling route what we will be biking after.

After this visit, we start our coastal bike ride from Concon to Valparaiso that will take us approximately 2 hours. Our first stop of the bike tour is Roca Oceanica “Ocean Rock” viewpoint. We will have a small stop to appreciate and take in the oceanic views. Our ride continues then along Reñaca beaches, leading us to our second stop Viña del Mar´s famous Flower Clock; A beautiful Swiss machinery clock decorated by colorful flowers. In the area, we also get to discover Viña del Mar Casino representing as the first Chilean casino.

We continue to pedal along the coastal route until arriving in our final stop of the bike ride: Caleta Portales (Local Fish Market). Here we get to explore and appreciate the Chilean seafood and the fish the fishermen have caught during their day at sea. You will have the chance to try out the fresh “ceviches” prepared by the fishermen.

We pack our bikes pack to the vehicle and continue our tour to Valparaiso and its historical center to enjoy a local lunch in a seafood or other optional (at your own expense) restaurant. After lunch, we visit the main square: Plaza Sotomayor and the Valparaíso Port, and then continue by vehicle to one of the most picturesque hills of the city, Cerro Concepción. We will do a walking tour to get better in touch with the local life, street art/ murals, and the beautiful viewpoints.  We will give you an introduction to the local culture, history, art and the surrounds.

We finish our day by going up to the viewpoint: Mirador Paseo 21 de Mayo, where you will find typical handicrafts of the area and one of the best views of the city over the Valparaiso port.

We will start our return journey back to Santiago and finally drop you off back in your hotel location.
