This bike tour includes a cable car ride up to San Cristobal hill summit at 880 m/ 2900 ft. (or optionally bike ride up the hill) to enjoy excellent views of Santiago. See the city of 7 million people completely illuminated at night, followed by a bike ride down the Metropolitan Park trails and the main bike paths and parks of the city.
We start the tour at Huaso Tours Offices: El Comendador 2060, and begin to pedal along cycle paths leading us to the San Cristobal hill access (Pedro de Valdivia). We place our bikes in the bike rack and hop on the cable car taking us to the top of San Cristóbal hill. The cable car ride allows us to see great part of the city and its mountains from above.
After making our way to the summit, we stop at Mirador Terraza Bellavista viewpoint to enjoy the sunset and after the illuminated views over the city.
The bike ride down the hill is the most entertaining part of the bike tour taking us to 30-40 minutes ride along pavement roads bordering the hill, until arriving in Pedro de Valdivia Avenue. We continue our nocturnal route for another hour through the parks and bike paths of Providencia neighborhood. Our final stop is the Plaza de la Aviación – Aviation Square where we get to enjoy a beautiful light show and take the final photos of the night.
We continue our journey for another 15 minutes until arriving back in our starting point.
